With every new generation comes fresh ideas that result in a different way of seeing the world which leads to a redefining of social structures to align with the new worldview. This is especially true if the ideas are well-nurtured and steered in the right direction. Mentorship from the older generation will be especially beneficial in shaping and refining the fresh ideas propagated by the younger generation.
Throughout history, societal shifts have been directly linked to the emergence of a new set of ideas. The American Revolution and French Revolution, for instance, were triggered by ideas from enlightenment, an intellectual movement that swept through Western Europe in the 18th century. The movement challenged existing knowledge, seeking new information that shifted the people's view of the world. A change in the commonly shared set of ideas is the foundation for systemic shift or national-level transitions.
Head over to my YOUTUBE CHANNEL where we look at times of national-level transitions from a kingdom standpoint. Below is one of our latest video uploads. We would greatly appreciate if you could forward this to other leaders in your circle, who can take action on it.
